Live Events

Century TV has a strong track-record in producing large-scale multi-camera Outside Broadcast coverage of major events in HD and SD, both in the UK and Worldwide.

We were host broadcasters for the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup, the Stanford 20-20 Regional Tournament (2006 & 2008), and the Stanford 20-20 for $20 Million match between England and the Stanford Superstars (2008), which was the first international cricket production to be produced in High Definition using Outside Broadcast Flyaway equipment.

The 2007 ICC World Cup involved engaging more than 250 production and operational staff to work across nine Caribbean islands including Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad.

Century TV also produced the coverage of cycling’s 2007 and 2008 Tours of Britain, and the 2005 IBF Badminton World Championships based in Anaheim, California.

We have also produced a number of pre-season football friendlies in the UK for various broadcasters including RAI Italy, Sport Italia and ERT in Greece.

Beyond sport, we have been appointed host broadcasters for the Fifth Conference of the Americas, to be attended by all 32 Heads of State from the Americas, including President Obama, of the United States of America, and the 2009 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), to be attended by more than 50 Heads of State, alongside Her Majesty The Queen. This is the fourth time the company has acted in this role for CHOGM, following the previous events in 2003 (Nigeria), 2005 (Malta) and 2007 (Uganda).
